I stop by and see Holly Miranda‘s show at the Ace Hotel. Jacob Hinmon of 4+1 Productions (director of the Winn Perry video) videos her set as a small lunchtime crowd accumulates. Holly sets up a few amps and stands on the coffee table; the production, with its ironic spontaneity, fits perfectly with the space.
I bump into David, who edits a scholarly paper between songs.
